Practical training for the safe and efficient on-farm production of bioinputs.

What it is

The On-Farm Bioinputs Workshops are hands-on training programs promoted by the Federal Institute of Avaré, with support from Instituto Folio. They are designed to teach farmers how to multiply microorganisms in a safe, efficient, and low-cost way, strengthening farm autonomy and accelerating the transition to regenerative and organic agriculture.

Who leads the On-Farm Bioinputs transition

Sérgio Pimenta

Agronomist trained at ESALQ/USP, specializing in sustainable systems and organic and regenerative certifications. He works with good agricultural practices and technical consulting. Sérgio is a consultant for Instituto Folio and a partner at 360Consult.

Marcela Pavan

PhD in Food Science from Unicamp. Specialist in microorganism multiplication through submerged and solid-state fermentation, with a focus on enzymes. She is a professor at IFSP – Avaré and a leading reference in bioprocesses applied to agriculture.
